In the late morning of December 2, 2016, the life of 22-year-old Terance Jackson was tragically cut short in East Chicago, Indiana. Emergency services were dispatched to the 4900 block of Melville Avenue around 11:30 a.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Jackson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of medical responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene approximately 40 minutes later.
