Daniel Nitzsche, aged 52, was found on the sidewalk outside a residence in East Chicago, Indiana, on November 19, 2020. He had been robbed and shot by two men wearing ski masks. Nitzsche managed to inform the East Chicago Police about the incident before succumbing to his injuries. The investigation led to the arrest of Leon Taylor, who was identified through witness statements and surveillance footage.
