In the late hours of February 10, 2014, the life of 17-year-old Garrion Olajawon Tirone Glover-Morris was tragically cut short in East Chicago, Indiana. A loving, fun, and outgoing young man, he was born on April 15, 1996. Garrion was a Black male who was known for his vibrant personality. His death, a result of gun violence, sent ripples of grief through his family and the community.
