Gary Walton, a 28-year-old Black / African American male resident of East Chicago, Indiana, saw his life come to a sudden and tragic end on Sunday, August 3, 2014. Known affectionately to his friends and family as "Pooh," he was a presence in his local community whose time was cut short by an act of violence.
