Alan Lavelle Ross Jr., a 22-year-old resident of Hammond, Indiana, was tragically killed in a shooting incident on May 19, 2019, in East Chicago, Indiana. The incident occurred at the intersection of 140th Street and Pulaski Street. According to the Lake County coroner’s office, Ross Jr. suffered a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at 4:17 a.m. His death was officially ruled a homicide.
