Jayden Brown, a 17-year-old from East Chicago, Indiana, tragically lost his life on December 15, 2020. He was fatally shot on Guthrie Street, and his death was ruled a homicide by the Lake County coroner's office. The incident occurred in the 3800 block of Guthrie Street, where Jayden was struck by gunfire and pronounced dead at 7:55 p.m. Two other individuals were also injured in the shooting, but they survived.
