On May 15, 2017, Thomas Richardson, a 25-year-old male, was fatally shot in East Chicago, Indiana. The violent incident occurred during the evening hours and resulted in Richardson sustaining fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead shortly after the shooting, which took place in a residential area of the city. The same event also left another individual wounded, though that person survived their injuries.
