Robert A. Silvestre, a 30-year-old resident of Calumet City, Illinois, tragically lost his life on February 16, 2022, in East Chicago, Indiana. The incident occurred late at night when East Chicago Police Officers were dispatched to the area of 4900 Homerlee Avenue following a ShotSpotter alert indicating multiple rounds fired.
