In the summer of 2019, a tragic and unforeseen event cut short the life of Charles H. Foard Jr., a 56-year-old male resident of East Chicago, Indiana. On the evening of July 7th, what began as a minor traffic incident escalated into a fatal shooting, leaving a family and community in mourning. Foard, a respected mechanic known for his generosity and willingness to help others, had been involved in a single-car accident in an alley.
