On the evening of Sunday, October 19, 2014, police in Indianapolis, Indiana, responded to reports of gunfire on the city's near-east side. Upon arriving at the 600 block of North Oxford Street, officers discovered a victim inside a duplex who had sustained fatal gunshot wounds. Shell casings were located in the entryway of the residence, and the individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
