Leroy Lee, age 64, was tragically shot and killed on April 28, 2016, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Leroy was driving his car with his grandson, a young child, in the front passenger seat when the shooting occurred in the area of Kitley Avenue and Meadowlark Drive on the city's northeast side. The incident happened around 7 p.m., and police believe the shooting was a targeted attack, although Leroy was later described by his family as an innocent victim caught in a situation of mistaken identity.
