In the summer of 2016, a young man's life was cut short in Indianapolis. Dashawn Patterson, a 21-year-old male, was found fatally shot on the northwest side of the city on July 20th. His body was discovered within an apartment complex located at 3381 Tara Lane. The events leading up to the shooting and a motive for the violence remain unclear.
