Stephen S. Brockmann, age 73, was found dead in his Indianapolis home on November 18, 2017, following a house fire on Barr Drive. Firefighters responded to the blaze after an alarm was triggered. Once the fire was extinguished, Brockmann was discovered inside and pronounced dead at the scene. The Marion County Coroner’s Office later ruled his death a probable homicide, indicating that foul play was suspected in the fire.
