On November 19, 2018, 35-year-old Jose Jesus Lopez Arriaga was fatally shot outside Tandango's, a nightclub located at 3300 W. 10th Street on Indianapolis' west side. The incident occurred around 1 a.m., leaving Arriaga deceased at the scene and another individual wounded with a gunshot to the wrist. Responding officers faced challenges in gathering information, as many witnesses spoke primarily Spanish, complicating the investigation.
