Corey Lee Story, a 45-year-old resident of Kokomo, Indiana, was tragically found dead on October 25, 2014. Corey, who was a caregiver by profession, had been shot twice—once in the back of the head and once in the back. His body was discovered by Tommie Hammock Jr., a paraplegic man for whom Corey was providing care. Tommie found Corey unresponsive on the floor of his master bedroom, with no signs of forced entry or struggle, but with two spent shell casings nearby.
