Dequan R. Cummings, a 21-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically lost his life on December 28, 2014. According to available records, Cummings died as a result of a violent incident that occurred during a home invasion. On the evening of December 28, Cummings reportedly forced his way into a residence, leading to a struggle with the occupants over a firearm kept in the home. During this altercation, Cummings was fatally shot.
