On a summer evening in Indianapolis, the life of 26-year-old Ryan Philip Gallet, a White male, was tragically cut short. On July 12, 2015, Gallet was discovered with a fatal gunshot wound in the 1200 block of 33rd Street around 7:45 p.m.. His body was found on a walking path that leads to a footbridge, a route he was believed to be taking to meet someone he had just spoken with on the phone. The discovery launched a homicide investigation into the untimely death of the Greenfield resident.
