In the late hours of a Wednesday night in December 2015, the life of 33-year-old Rodney Brown of Indianapolis was tragically cut short. Just after midnight on December 17th, he was discovered on the front porch of a residence in the 3400 block of Ralston Avenue. Brown had sustained a gunshot wound to the head.
Emergency services transported him to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he later died.
At the time of the incident, investigators with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department stated that they did not believe the shooting was a random act of violence.
