Ralph Lee Machala, a 58-year-old man from Baytown, Texas, was found dead on September 20, 2019. His body was discovered by a local realtor near FM2354 in Chambers County, Texas, the day after Tropical Depression Imelda swept through the area. Machala, who was the owner of Pooky's Ice House, a popular bar in Crosby, was determined to have died from a gunshot wound.
