On the night of August 1, 2014, Glen Flowers, a 32-year-old male, was tragically shot and killed at a Valero gas station in Baytown, Texas. The incident occurred just after midnight when a man and woman were involved in a heated argument at the gas pumps. The man, later identified as Walter Pickering, turned and shot Flowers for no apparent reason before fleeing the scene in a gray Chevy pickup truck.
