Luis Banos Norberto, a 27-year-old man from Baytown, Texas, was tragically killed on January 14, 2025. Authorities later arrested his fiancé, 31-year-old Ty Vaughn, in connection with the murder. Vaughn allegedly shot Norberto in the face inside their apartment at the Crosby Green complex and attempted to stage the scene to make it appear as a suicide. Investigators uncovered inconsistencies in Vaughn’s statements and surveillance footage that contradicted his account of events.
