In the summer of 2014, a senseless act of violence cut short the life of Harry Briggs, a 45-year-old male gas station clerk known for his kind and generous nature. On the night of June 4th, while working at Joe's Junction convenience store on West Troy Avenue and Lynhurst Drive in Indianapolis, a man entered the store with the intent to rob it. The assailant confronted Briggs and another employee before firing three shots. One of these tragically struck Harry Briggs in the head.
