Terry Williams, a 19-year-old from Indianapolis, Indiana, was tragically shot and killed on January 4, 2016. His death marked the first homicide in Indianapolis for that year. Williams was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the hallway of an apartment complex on the city's east side. The incident was immediately ruled a homicide by the authorities.
