Derrick Thomas, a 25-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically lost his life on October 30, 2014. The incident occurred at the Carriage House East Apartments, where Thomas was found shot multiple times around 6:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of Ellis Drive. Emergency medical services pronounced him dead at the scene.
