Xaivion Benson, a 16-year-old teenager from Fort Wayne, Indiana, tragically lost his life on March 31, 2016. Benson was found shot in a south-side alley near Monroe and East Sherwood Terrace around 3 a.m. on that fateful day. He was discovered by Fort Wayne police officers who responded to multiple 911 calls reporting gunshots in the area. Upon arrival, officers found Benson critically injured and he was subsequently transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
