In the autumn of 2021, a visit to a friend's home in Fort Wayne, Indiana, turned into a scene of violence that claimed the life of 28-year-old Benyamin Jovon McQuiller Jr. On the evening of Sunday, October 17th, McQuiller, a Black male, arrived at the Wells Street Mobile Home Court with a female companion. Shortly after their arrival, another man appeared and shattered the calm of the evening by opening fire on them.
