In the early morning hours of a Tuesday in Fort Wayne, Indiana, a passing motorist noticed a vehicle on the side of the 4200 block of Lower Huntington Road that appeared to have been in an accident. The discovery, made shortly after 5:30 a.m. on July 25, 2023, would soon unfold into a homicide investigation. The driver inside the vehicle was found unconscious and not breathing. Despite life-saving efforts initiated by the responding officer, the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
