On July 25, 2023, Dennis Dwayne Starr, a 40-year-old man from Fort Wayne, Indiana, was found dead in his vehicle near the intersection of Lower Huntington Road and Kruge Drive. The incident occurred early in the morning, just after 5:30 a.m., when a passing motorist reported a vehicle that appeared to have been in a crash. Upon arrival, police found Starr unconscious and not breathing, and despite CPR efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene by the Three Rivers Ambulance Authority.
