Nilan Joric Zyan Pearson, a 23-year-old resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana, died on December 12, 2023, due to gunshot wounds. The incident occurred early in the morning when Pearson was involved in a domestic disturbance at a nearby residence, which led to an exchange of gunfire. Following the altercation, Pearson fled the residence on foot and sought assistance at a Speedway gas station located at 2111 Sherman Boulevard in Fort Wayne.
