In the early hours of September 22, 2021, the life of William H. Erhardt, a 37-year-old male, was abruptly ended in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Police were dispatched to the intersection of Spring Street and Franklin Avenue around 1:06 a.m. following a report of a man with a gun. The caller informed dispatch that a male had entered a residence in the 1600 block of Franklin Avenue and discharged a firearm.
