In the late summer evening of August 14, 2016, what began as a dinner with friends at a Texas Roadhouse in Fort Wayne, Indiana, ended in tragedy for 28-year-old Jeffrey Martin Lute. A dispute that had been simmering between Lute, a former member of the Steel Horse Rebels motorcycle club, and its current members violently erupted in the restaurant's parking lot. That night, Jeffrey, a man described by loved ones as a kind-hearted and extraordinary individual, was fatally shot.
