In the early afternoon of a Sunday in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the sound of gunshots shattered the quiet of a neighborhood. On May 22, 2016, Anquanh S. Parham, a 27-year-old man, was found lying unresponsive in the front yard of a home on Spatz Avenue. He had been shot multiple times. Fort Wayne police officers responded to the 4400 block of Spatz Avenue around 12:30 p.m. after receiving reports of the shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Parham, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
