In the early morning hours of August 5, 2016, a day that should have been a celebration of his 23rd birthday, Dominique Williams was found shot to death inside a Fort Wayne, Indiana apartment. Police responded to a 911 call around 6 a.m. at the Preston Pointe Apartments on Winston Lane, where they discovered the young man's body.
