In the spring of 2016, the life of 31-year-old Joshua H. Shaw, a male resident of Elkhart, Indiana, was tragically cut short. On the morning of Tuesday, April 5th, Shaw was seated in the driver's seat of his SUV in the parking lot of the Bannerker Heights Apartment Complex on Malcolm Drive. It was there, in broad daylight, that he was shot multiple times. Emergency services were called to the scene, and Shaw was rushed to Elkhart General Hospital in a desperate attempt to save his life.
