In the summer of 2016, a normal Sunday evening in Elkhart, Indiana, was shattered by an act of brutal violence that claimed the life of 26-year-old Navelle Goodman and two other men. On July 31st, Goodman, a male resident of Goshen, was at a gathering with friends and family on Strong Avenue. The atmosphere of camaraderie was irrevocably broken when two masked gunmen forced their way into the residence.
