In the early evening of December 17, 2020, tragedy struck in Elkhart, Indiana, when 41-year-old Rochad H. Washington, a male resident of the city, was fatally wounded in a shooting. The incident occurred in the vicinity of 6th and Concord, where police were dispatched following reports of gunfire. Washington was transported to Elkhart General Hospital, but tragically succumbed to his injuries.
