In the early evening of December 17, 2020, tragedy struck in Elkhart, Indiana, when 41-year-old Rochad H. Washington, a male resident of the city, was fatally wounded in a shooting. The incident occurred in the vicinity of 6th and Concord, where police were dispatched following reports of gunfire.
