Carl Derrelle Chislom, a 27-year-old male, was fatally shot in Indianapolis on the afternoon of Friday, May 13, 2016. The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of 42nd Street and Emerson Avenue on the city's northeast side. Chislom was a passenger in a vehicle traveling on Arlington Avenue when individuals in another car opened fire, striking him at least once.
