DayRon Staten, an 18-year-old from Indianapolis, Indiana, was tragically killed on July 19, 2016. Staten was found shot to death inside a car in the 3300 block of Robson Street. The incident was part of a series of violent events that occurred in Indianapolis during that period. Alongside Staten in the car was a 21-year-old woman, Valencia Standberry, who was critically wounded in the shooting.
