Demario Laquan Burnett, a 21-year-old resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana, tragically lost his life on September 13, 2016. Burnett was one of the victims in a triple homicide that occurred at the Sports and Spirits Bar located on East Wayne Street. The incident took place in the early hours of the morning, around 2:30 a.m., when gunshots were fired inside the crowded bar.
