Hector Sustaita, aged 51, tragically lost his life on May 31, 2016, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Sustaita was fatally shot in the backyard of a home located in the 2500 block of Brooklyn Avenue around 10:30 p.m. on that fateful Monday night. The incident was identified as a homicide-suicide, where Sustaita was killed by his girlfriend’s ex-husband. This violent altercation resulted in the deaths of both men, leaving the community in shock and mourning.
