In the late hours of a Monday evening in Fort Wayne, Indiana, tragedy struck 51-year-old Hector Sustaita. On May 31, 2016, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Sustaita was shot on Brooklyn Avenue. He was rushed to a local hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries. The Allen County Coroner's Office later ruled his death a homicide caused by gunshot wounds.
