On January 9, 2017, at approximately 1:03 p.m., 64-year-old Santanu Muhuri was working at the Lancaster Market on North Clayton Street in Wilmington, Delaware, when two individuals entered the store with the intent to commit robbery. Devonte Dorsett, then 22, accompanied by a 14-year-old accomplice, confronted Muhuri. Dorsett brandished a .45 caliber handgun and demanded cash.
