On July 26, 2021, Wilmington, Delaware, experienced a series of violent incidents resulting in multiple fatalities. Among the victims was 32-year-old Kevin Thompson, who was fatally shot around 7 p.m. on the 600 block of North Monroe Street. Another individual, a 33-year-old man, sustained injuries during the same incident and was hospitalized in stable condition.
