A 37-year-old male, Dennis Davis, originally from Wilmington, Delaware, was fatally shot on June 11, 2023. That afternoon, shortly after 2:16 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call on the unit block of East 23rd Street. There, they discovered the victim, a 37-year-old male, suffering from gunshot wounds and he was quickly transported to Christiana Hospital, where he later succumbed to those injuries.
