In the early evening of June 5, 2020, the life of Keith Lamont Evans, a 24-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short by gun violence in Wilmington, Delaware. Responding to a report of a shooting at approximately 8:44 p.m., police officers arrived at the 2700 block of North Washington Street to find Mr. Evans suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a local hospital for emergency medical treatment.
