In the quiet town of New Albany, Indiana, the life of 49-year-old Mark Herbert McCane came to a violent end on the evening of November 22, 2017. He was a man known in the community as the owner of Falls City Roofing, but his life was far more complex than his professional persona suggested. On that Wednesday evening, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 3000 block of Moccasin Ridge Court following reports of gunfire.
