On the evening of March 23, 2021, the life of 38-year-old Joshua Gonzales, a Hispanic male, was cut short inside a home in New Albany, Indiana. New Albany Police Department officers responded to a call about a shooting in the 100 block of Cherry Street around 6:30 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Gonzales deceased, having sustained at least one gunshot wound.
