Tyler F. Williams, a 29-year-old resident of New Albany, Indiana, tragically died on June 11, 2020, from a gunshot wound to the head. The incident occurred during a physical altercation involving Williams, his wife, and another party. According to the New Albany Police Department and the Floyd County Prosecutor's Office, the shooting was deemed accidental. During the altercation, a gun fell to the ground, and when Williams' wife picked it up, it unintentionally discharged, striking Williams.
