In the quiet overnight hours of February 25, 2018, in Gary, Indiana, the lives of 44-year-old Freddie Howard and 29-year-old Van Dyke Cason were tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. The two were discovered in an apartment complex in the 400 block of North Clark Road, both having suffered fatal gunshot wounds in what police would investigate as a double homicide.
