Tanya Gatlin, a 27-year-old African American woman from Gary, Indiana, was one of seven victims linked to convicted serial killer Darren Deon Vann. Her remains were discovered in October 2014 inside an abandoned building at 413 East 43rd Avenue in Gary, alongside the body of another victim, 53-year-old African American woman Sonya Billingsley.
