In the Fairfax Village area of Washington, D.C., on the afternoon of March 11, 2022, a sense of unease settled over the 3800 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast. It was there that Donnell Henderson, a 60-year-old male resident of Southeast, was found suffering from gunshot wounds. The call came in to the Metropolitan Police Department's Sixth District at approximately 2:22 p.m., reporting a shooting.
