In the autumn of 2019, the life of 30-year-old Christopher Parks was tragically cut short in a brazen daylight shooting in Washington, D.C. On the afternoon of Saturday, October 19th, Parks was in the 2400 block of Hartford Street in the Southeast quadrant of the city when he was fatally wounded. The preliminary investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department indicated that Parks had been shot. Despite the efforts of first responders, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
